This Website has been devised, created and managed by the husband and wife team of David and Linda Goodsell, who had a dream about touring America in their own American Recreational Vehicle to see and experience first hand just what that vast country has to offer the visitor.
So after considerable in-depth research, planning and of course saving adequate funds; they eventually achieved their ambition and travelled across the Atlantic to Redmond in Oregon to purchase their very own 'A' Class 'Safari Trek' motor home; that they had incidentally located and negotiated to purchase via the Internet.
Once all the vehicle purchase transactions and formalities had been successfully completed and that proved to be quite a daunting task, they embarked on a life changing tour of Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, California and Utah, visiting numerous places of cultural and historic interest.
The whole experience was so enthralling and captivating that they kept a daily diary and also recorded this most memorable adventure on their digital camera, then soon realised that all this information, together with the data painstakingly collected over the years leading up to the trip, naturally formed a very good basis for an informative and tremendously useful RV Travel Book that should appeal to anyone wishing to undertake a similar great adventure.
Eventually after this trip, they left their much cherished vehicle safely stored in Oregon and returned to the UK to commence the formidable task of writing and producing their first high quality book, entitled 'Our American Dream' that has been extremely well received by the trade, the media and of course the many, many avid readers throughout the UK, as well as some in the USA and even Australia.
But of course the story does not end there !!!!
'On The Road Again In The USA'
The following year David and Linda returned to the USA to collect their 'Safari Trek' and then commence the formidable journey that involved driving the vehicle some 3,250 miles from Redmond in Oregon, that is on the West Coast to Baltimore in Maryland on the East Coast of America, so that the RV could be exported back home to the UK.
Throughout this lengthy journey, they once again kept a diary of events, detailing the numerous interesting locations they visited and the fascinating people encountered.
Of course the opportunity was naturally taken to capture many stunning photographs on the digital camera, as they travelled through such states as Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and many others.
Leaving their cherished RV all alone on a rain soaked Baltimore dockside, they travelled by coach to Washington DC, to undertake yet more sightseeing, before returning to the UK to eagerly await the arrival of their RV.
Naturally armed with all the priceless research data they had carefully gathered, they then set about creating, writing and producing their second high quality book that is aptly entitled 'On The Road Again In The USA'.
This book provides yet another extremely interesting and in-depth insight into life on the open road and should definitely appeal to anyone wishing to embark on a similar life changing adventure.
